Bryant Park named best Christmas Market in the world

We finally have proof that New York City does Christmas the best of any city in the world! The Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park has been named the best Christmas market in the world for 2023 in a study from Planet Cruise, unveiling the top must-visit Christmas Markets from across the world. It’s the second year Bryant Park has been the top market.

David Chipperfield Wins Pritzker Prize

Architecture’s highest honor has gone to the British designer, who is focusing on issues of environmental sustainability and social equity. Chipperfield has established himself as a brand name architect who often tops the list of major competitions. He was knighted in 2010.

David Chipperfield Architects completes The Bryant

The 228,000 square foot new tower—fittingly named The Bryant—is clad in polished precast concrete slabs that, as noted by Chipperfield Architects in a press release, “contains different aggregates identical to the stone varieties found in the neighbouring buildings’ masonry facades.”

The Bryant by David Chipperfield Architects

This new 32-story building located on the corner of Bryant Park in Midtown Manhattan, New York, is the first tower by David Chipperfield Architects in the city. It contains 57 private residences on its upper levels and a hotel below, extending to the 14 floor.

The Bryant concrete skyscraper completes in New York

The 402-foot-high (123 metres) building overlooks Bryant Park and the New York Public Library. In 2001, the practice renovated the Bryant Park Hotel in the American Radiator Building next door. A hotel occupies the levels up to the 14th floor of The Bryant, with private apartments taking up the other 18 storys.
